This review is about 4 years past due- should have done it long ago!! Horrible Vet. Rude and uncompassionate. Cares more about money and holding a grudge then actually caring for animals. I saw this man physically grab a woman's arm to turn her away from the clinic years ago. After that, I didn't feel safe with him so left to another practice. Then since Dr Moreno sold her practice a few years ago, I Have used Dr Mayer since and couldn't be happier.

I had a horrible experience yesterday. I took my cat with a hurt toe pad to East lake Animal Clinic. He has only once had to ride in a car for a length of time and does not do well with it. When I arrived at the vet, I told the receptionist he was very traumatized, and had messed himself and was thrashing around hysterically, breathing extremely hard. She did not even look at him, told me I was early and to take a seat. 20 minutes later, he had stopped breathing all together. I said "I think my cat is dead!" and they rushed ... read more

Not only were the 2 front office receptionist crass and rude but completely unhelpful. We brought in a small dog hit by a car then drove away, this was not our dog and were not from the area so we drove to the first vet near by and sadly it was here. We were told unless we had cash they would not even look at the animal and offered no information when asked where to take the animal. Not even the courtesy of looking and seeing if the animal was in dire pain. I am sickened by this unprofessional vet and their staff. I would no... read more

This place SUCKS now!! Id give no stars if I could. Rip off artists. I took my cat in to be neutered on the 7th. I was told it would be $90. After I left I received a voice mail asking to call back because my cat was found to have cryptorchidism and that it was now going to be an aditional $60. I said that was fine, although at this point I think was bs as well. I went to pick him up the following day and when I went to pay the girl said a price $30 higher than what was said over the phone. I tried to argue that she had said... read more

I was very disappointed the last time I took my dog here. I took my new puppy to get his vaccines here because I've been taking my other dog here since I got her. The girl came out to the lobby with the syringe and told me to hold my puppy, in mid-air, while she gave him the shot. Unacceptable. I am actually in school right now, studying to be a Vet Tech so I know that's not how things should be done. First, you never have the owner restrain their animal. Second, you do not restrain in mid-air. Obviously, my puppy was wiggl... read more

Very expensive and horrible bed side manner. I had this vet for 8 yrs and had no idea their prices were so INFLATED until after I switched clinics. My dog needed to be euthanized on a Sunday and this was the only place in town that was open so I reluctantly brought him here. They initially offered me the works; including a large burial box. After my dog was put down, they suggested I use garbage bags since they had run out of the "big" burial boxes. 2 weeks passed and they sent a postcard asking me to bring in my d... read more
