My daughter and I came home from a 3 hour shopping trip to find my 8 year old Boston shaky and lethargic , he seemed very out of it. We called the veterinary clinic to see if he warranted a visit. I fully understand the nature of an emergency appointment . After a brief look by a tech they took him to the back , I thought to begin a treatment. How can a veterinary clinic have no compassion? I treat all living creations past and present with the upmost respect. I cried for the loss of my love one. Instead of a hug; I was thrown out there door for expressing my feelings. The staff as a whole has no heart. Made me question their beliefs. Received my Baby frozen like a popsicle in a trash bag and shoe box. They smile in your face, but have no souls.
Like others have said, if you love your pets do not take them here. I'm not going to tell my story because it's still too painful. I just want to add my 1 star (minus many if I could).
I would give zero stars if possible. I dropped my 30lb collie off to be fixed. They charged 560.00 so its deffiantly not the cheapest(so i thought I would get exceptional care). Picked my dog up and later that night I noticed somthing was irritating her. When they shaved her for surgery they severely burnt her skin. This means the clippers were too hot and dragged across her skin. The owner/manager was sopose to call me today to have a discussion which I knew wasn't going to happen. Worst hospital ever. I took my dog in for grooming and they administered vaccines without asking if he had already had them. I have had a total of 3 dogs at this vet and there was an issue every time. The staff (night time staff) does nothing, but play around the whole time they are 'working' instead of performing their duties as a vet hospital. They marked my account as do not service even though THEY made the mistake and didn't communicate as to the vaccines my dog needed or not!!! Horrible company!!!!!
I took my small dog here after he broke his front leg. I was desperate to help my dog In time of need so I only had time to go to the emergency vet the night before and then East Lake clinic the next day. The Dr seemed very helpful and he for the most part acted as if he was giving me good prices for the operation my dog needed on his leg. This was the worst animal hospital EVER!! I was held hostage in their office when my boyfriend had to go home and get the money to pay for the office visit for my cat. I was told I could not leave until the whole bill was paid in full. I will NEVER take or recommend this place to anyone.
this is a LONG OVERDUE review of this whack clinic!!! i have taken my pets here in the past because it is conveniently located near my house and its like one of the only vets in watsonville. Made an appointment to have my dog fixed. They sent me two emails saying to drop off the dog at 7am for the surgery. I arrived at 7am, in the pouring rain, and was told via speaker at the door that she was not allowed to open the door until 8am. They didn't even let me in out of the rain. So, I wait till 8am and they finally open the door, but I am then told that the receptionist hasn't arrived yet. I wait another 10 minutes while this lady takes phone calls but will not help me.
