I was told my wire harness for my van would be an 8 hour job. My van also needed an oil change and a recall. Apt was on Tuesday at 7am. My husband and I dropped the van off Monday before 2pm. Didnt get my van back until Wednesday at closing. When I picked it up was surprised to learn I had a deductible to pay that we were never told about. I was not kept aware of things going on and had to call dealership several times to get an update. Very disappointed in service we received.
Paid 75 dollars for piss poor diagnostic that was like pulling teeth to get the paper work.. also service tech misjudged an engine knock with an intake leak..
I don’t recommend anyone ever purchasing a vehicle from this half-assed dealership. We are long-time Ford owners, due to Covid and inability to purchase a new F-250, we were “forced” to purchase a 2020 2500 diesel. Worse mistake ever! After one year, the transmission is out, the truck is sitting 120 miles away from us, currently 4+ weeks, and neither this dealership nor the other (where it’s stranded) will do a thing to rectify the situation. Bought a used car from one of the salesman. The car is great minus one small detail that I spoke with the salesman about numerous times. I was promised a call back about the Antenna that needs replaced 4 days and then 2 days ago. Still have not received it. I also wanted to purchase this vehicle from another Shults lot that I live minutes from, and they would not give the car up. So I had to drive an hour to even see this car. I guess not a great way of dealerships working together
too much to post ill just say this. after 30yrs of going to 1 mechanic.... ill be going back. this experiment was a total bust. not having to work on my car was a plus of my new job having shitty work done on it and, being charged for it was not.
I’ve been a regular customer at Ed Shults of Warren since I bought my car there in 2017. I have been loyal and go to them for all of my car needs. Last year they convinced me to pay extra for a free detail and a couple oil changes. Recently, I had a service done and scheduled the detail after. So to give context to what happened. In January we got an oil change right after it started ticking on the driver's side. I mean right after. I've called 5 times since and I got oh it will be fine after your next oil change nothing happened here. Fast forward to today. Get that magical oil change and guess what is still ticking now they want $150 an hour and a full day to see what's wrong with it. Subaru won't warranty surface rust since "it is not rusted all the way through"...never ever will I support Subaru nor this store ever again. Unreal!
maybe this will get your attention. I called and asked for them to remove my email address after sending tons of emails to remove me and have unsubscribed no less than 50 times. Please stop, I am not a customer!
