I’m usually on the other end of this, as a fellow veterinary professional, however I was in need of emergency services this weekend. My gentle giant became horribly ill in a matter of hours. I have several clients that have raved about this ER and thought to myself “If I ever have an emergency, this is where I am going.” Well that time came, and even though my story doesn’t have a happy ending, I am overly appreciative for the compassion and professionalism from the staff. Sherman’s nurse, Courtney, was extremely helpful and... read more

So it’s been an eventful 13 hours. My sweet Link had a very severe asthma exacerbation & was intubated overnight. He has since self-extubated, because he’s sassy like that, but is hanging in there on super saturated oxygen, nebs, steroids, & a sedative. My amazing niece Livi recognized that he was behaving oddly, and went to him to see what was wrong. She very quickly realized that he was having trouble breathing & came to get me for help. He is still hospitalized, and not out of the woods just yet, but I don’t think he... read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place and the people. The love of my life, my almost 13 year old golden Retriever very unexpectedly let us know it was time for him to go on Friday evening. My normal vet was closed. From the phone call to dealing with every person we encountered in person, they were all so kind and wonderful. They took their time and allowed us to spend as much time as we needed with him before the vet peacefully sent him on. The kindness they treated us with will never be forgotten. Because of the... read more

I want to thank everyone at Emergency pet care for saving my girl Lerma. I have an 11 year old German shepherd named Lerma. My girl was bit by a venomous snake, which I believe to be a copperhead. I took Lerma to the hospital after I noticed her face was swollen up and her breathing became erratic. I was so scared my girl wasn’t going to make it. I arrived at the Emergency pet care clinic about 3 hours after the bite. They administered the anti venom therapy and saved my dogs life. I just want to thank the vet who took care ... read more

Seriously these guys are amazing, they saved our little pups life! They are compassionate and they genuinely cared for our little guy. There was a moment when we had to make tough decisions, but I’m so glad that they knew what to do for Judah! I could not recommend these guys more! Thank you so much! Judah is home now and recovering very well after surgery.
