I was really disappointed with my visit today with Dr. Gilbert. My appointment was at 9:30 and doctor saw me at 11 AM. No body in the office told me, why the delay. I had provided the doctor with MRI's taken in India. The doctor spent 5 minutes, did not examine my knee and did not answer our concerns. He contradicted the findings in the MRI. I wish, doctors will take patient care seriously. After spending 2 hours, I have to see another Ortho doctor for the same condition.
Dr Madsen failed to provide me a fusion of my L5-S1 spine in 2014. He and Dr Choi failed at providing me care. Just know the true facts on the Doctors rate of failed surgeries is false. I don't understand how they don't have to report this information but they don't. When the new surgeon did get in to fix the failed fusion I was told the CAGE was embedded into my L5 it was a long surgery and I am still tying to recover. I will never be the same as Dr. Madsen advised me

Has a good bedside manner but does not seem very knowledgeable re medications and has a limited knowledge of some forms of arthritis. I was very disappointed in him. In the end he did not help my condition. I saw him for over a year and a half and my condition worsened over that time. I have found another doctor.
Was injured at work have two herniated disc in my neck. The pain is on both sides of neck and shoulders but mostly on the right. He said that the herniations was more towards the left and I shouldn't have pain on the right. I do have pain on both sides and he refused to do anything with two herniated disc. This is the truth develope your own opinion but I wouldn't take his word on anything
I saw him for joint pain. He prescribed meds that start wkg after 6 wks. I told him the meds did not help, my pain was progressively becoming severe and I feared that something is seriously wrong. I informed him I would find another doctor if he can't diagnose/treat me. He quickly released me & I was referred to Duke (I now have a 4 month wait as a new patient!) I wasted a whole year with this doctor, while my joints are probably becoming permanently damaged each day because of his incompetence.
Worst doctor. He is out for the money and couldn't care less about his patients. I wouldn't sent a dog to him
Did not listen - could have been talking to the man in the moon. I went in for an extremely painful leg problem. On his report he wrote that he gave me a shot in the knee. What? He did give me a cortisone shot in the leg. also I took in xrays from a previous visit to urgent care. He said he could not see anything on the knee. I said because there is nothing wrong with me knee. There is a spot on my tibia bone. Oh, he says, that's no big deal. Excuse me?????
If your hurting, don't think you will get anything from this guy to alleviate pain other than NDAIDS. You will leave in the same boat with a hang in there approach.
