On 12/24 around noon, we showed up for a scheduled visit. Dr. Musante was extremely rude and hurried. I had to catch him, practically grab his coattails, as he left the room to ask for better pain control for the patient . Though the assistant assured me that the doctor had called in an order, he had not (as I discovered by checking in on 12/26, 2 full days later but of course over Christmas). I hope that he treats his surgical patients better, but am not willing to have him take further care of my husband.
I would prefer warmer bedside manner. Seemed not too interested to listen and couldn’t wait to leave the room. Was given in instructions on papers as exercises that were not legible. Not sure he wants to cultivate me as a patient.
These doctor will brush you off very rude , has no relation toward patient in my opinion he doesn't deserve to work for these company he doesn't even qualify for rating.
I do NOT recommend Dr. Paul Kerner. Not only did he rush through every appointment and never show me images of my Xrays, he told me surgery was the only option for my fractured collarbone that was slow to heal. I went to a different orthopedic for a 2nd opinion. He tested my vitamin D level and determined it was too low, put me on a supplement, and my collarbone has now healed. Unless you really want to go under the knife and spend a ton of money, I would suggest you not go to Emerge Ortho or Dr. Kerner. I am giving 1 star i... read more

I'm posting as a follow up to my July 16 diagnosis from Dr. Kerner and am downgrading my experience with him from two to one star. I went to another foot specialist for a second opinion because a couple weeks post injection, I found myself in pain again. It turns out that I do NOT have arthritis or joint damage as Dr Kerner strongly insisted, but rather a benign cyst in my foot and other bio mechanical issues from a former knee surgery contributing to my foot pain that I've been working through with a physical therapist. Televisit. I understand that a doctor's time is valuable, but a $50 co-pay for a one-minute call seems a bit much, especially when Humana had suspended co-pays on in-person visits. That's my complaint for the day ... wouldn't even think about using anyone other than Dr. Gilbert! I'm 70 with two good knees after a lifetime of playing ball ... what else can I say!?
Not good.forces me to go back to work and back killing me not good trying to find another doctor
