Very short in tone. I hope I never have to see him again. His attitude is very “Don’t ask me any questions.”
If Dr. Viens cannot perform surgery he does not seem interested in assisting you with other options to reduce constant pain and difficulty walking. I was told to "live with the condition", it did not require surgery. I previously saw him several times for the other foot that will require surgery but it will Not be with him. I am a medical professional too and this poor level of care should not be present today.
Dr. Viens recommended a procedure that did not go as intended. At a followup appointment, Dr. Viens entered the exam room and stated, "I am going to do the talking and you are going to do the listening." He was unsympathetic to the fact that I went from occasional discomfort prior to the procedure, to unrelenting pain that impacted my ability to walk following the procedure.
Saw Leigh for several years in the 2006-2014 for pain management. Though I believe she cares about people her prescribing copious amounts of morphine and fentanyl (at the same time!) as well as Ambien and muscle relaxers for over 10 yrs.....though it was always said it would "improve my quality of life" but it instead destroyed my family & about literally killed me more than once. I had spine surgery by Dr Madsen come to find out I didn’t need one and he did it wrong and caused me a tremendous amount of pain and severe issues. I went to my appointments through the first year religiously well my last appointment he asked how each one of my family members were and when I started to tell him how I was he tapped me on the shoulder and said well there’s nothing more I can do for you and walked out of the room. Nice guy but my shoulder is much worse then before he operated on me. Was really hoping for better results.
Did not listen to my concerns. Seems to lack compassion and empathy. Only spent 10 minutes with me.
After calling in to pay my bill today I decided to finally post my review ( I tried to avoid writing bad reviews) my last appointment (to go over my MRI and xrays) which I had to pay my $70 co pay was horrible service from a medical Dr. First Dr. Madsen was going over a different patient xrays and I HAD to point that out to him. I asked him a question and his response was "I'm sorry can you repeat that I have to remember where am?" I walked out of there so confused and didn't feel comfortable
