My wife is just completing two weeks of intensive therapy at Healthsouth in Modesto following a stroke. We couldn't be happier with the facility, its programs and its staff. They are all fantastic! My wife has been treated kindly and with great competence by all of the staff including doctors, caseworker, nurses, therapists, nurses aides, technicians, housekeeping and dining room attendants. This place is top notch when it comes to care and rehabilitation. They were fabulous to my grandmother, who had a severe stroke. She was there for 2 weeks and it was the absolute best care she could have received. They had her up, out of bed, and fully dressed every day. As a family we are so grateful she was sent here and we would reccommend this place to anyone who needs rehabilitation.

This place is top notch when it comes to care and rehabilitation. They were fabulous to my grandmother, who had a severe stroke. Lisa from Management is very Rude & hung up the phone without a care in the world. Not being caring or helpful coming from Rehab place where you expect care and compassion from the management group. It breaks my heart for them treating my family member accepting her and doctor promised he will accept her after feeling better from hospital and now that my family member is in better condition ready for rehab they consider treating us like animals Instead of human being

I would give 0 stars if I could. This is the worst place ever! I had a family member there I walked in around 4pm to see his morning meditation sitting on the bed side stand. I called in the nurse to ask if this was his hypertension medication she informed me she could not identify the medication. I demanded that she did due to the fact that it looked like his morning dose of hypertension medication which was crucial for him to take. She then came back to say it was his hypertension medication and that in his chart it showed... read more

Was told by Sandra who is one of their caseworkers that the therapist and staff felt I was not rehabilitatable after second week there. I had 2 therapy sessions. Biggest disappointment was I had a stroke & went to them. I've had better luck on my own with walking so far after 5 weeks after stroke. The only therapist I got any use out of was speech. I had to become my own health advocate as they would have killed me by giving me drugs that was causing me to bleed to death
