Please do not let your loved one admitted to Encompass rehabilitation. Staff is highly unprofessional and unresponsive and rude. All they care about is billing your patients insurance for the stay regardless of treatment. One of my family was admitted to this hospital. One evening they transferred him to modesto hospital without notifying us. We came to know when we went to see him and when we looked through the window he wasnt there. As a patient having had to stay here for 2 weeks, I would say everything looks good from the outside. The nursing care is not as good as you would expect. I waited on a bedpan for up to 25 minutes more than once. I had a nursing assistant tell me my bottom was yellow from urine staining it.You might get a shower once a week. The physical Therapy department is good, but they seem to be limited on treatments to help you get stronger. The one good thing about this place is the private room all patients receive. Wouldn't recommend. The facility itself is very nice, but the care was questionable. Took forever for patient buzzers to be answered. The physical therapy that was supposed to happen regularly didn't, and results were not honestly documented. My relative is leaving in the same condition they entered 2 weeks ago. Very disappointing experience.

If I could give them zero stars I would they the nurses are the worst they never went in to check check on my dad they were about to give him the wrong medication when I brought my dad no wheel chair they made him walk in by himself nurses were so rude I will never take him back and would not recommend this place to anyone the only people that weee nice and caring are the therapist nurses and staff so unprofessional!!

This place is horrible. Yes it is nice looking and brand new but it almost killed my dad. The dr and nurse seem to not care. We would push the button and it took 20 mins for someone to come in and see what was wrong. My dad couldnt walk after surgery when he was put here. We were happy because the reviews were good but he didn't even make it 5 days at this place before he was rushed by ambulance to er and ended up in ICU. He was getting fluid on his lungs and was drowning and this place keep giving him anti depressant and p... read more
