Hi purchased a used h2 hummer 7 months ago then I purchased Endurance extended warranty EADv16038761 just to be safe.Every month 103$ for 7 months.Then I had an issue my oil pump started making strange noises.I took it to the Dealer They said the oil pump needs to be replaced. I recorded the noise it makes ( not often though)They contacted Endurance. Then Endurance said they needed to send an inspector to the dealership. This company is a SCAM. Received a letter for my elderly father from sender titled "2021 Vehicle Notification Department" that said "We have just been advised there will be a Price Increase to our Extended Vehicle Service Plans (EVSP) effective August 19, 2021. After that date we will not be able to honor the service contract pricing designed specifically for your vehicle." They keep mailing me info on extending a car warranty for a car I don't own anymore. Called 2x and both customer ********************** reps put me on hold while they 'looked up additional information'. What a joke, this place has to be a sham.
I called Endurance today to get a quote. Super high pressure sales tactics. "How did you want to pay for this today?" I just called to get a quote. I'm sure I will have to block their phone calls and emails in the future.
Well the phone calls started as everyone would expect with nice customer ********************** and lots of guarantees and empty promises however once we got to the park to where I had asked the woman if they were backed and accredited by the Better Business Bureau she assured me that yes the company was upon further investigation of my own I found out that the company was not the woman on the phone then proceeded to argue with me and tell me that I had no idea what I was talking about that if such a thing weren't true that ... read more
Read the Contract! I'm glad I did and cancelled as soon as I did. If you are wanting a warranty for an older vehicle, the contract states that they will only pay out the total amount of the trade in value of the car at the time of the service. The cost of the contract may be more than their valuation and they will refuse to repair it. Also, they state that if you cancel within 30 days of signing up, you get 100% of the deposit back. I generally refrain from negative reviews unless truly warranted. In this case, I had THREE separate conversations with Endurance. First one, I called and they were actually very good on the phone. Second call, they called me back and said they may have additional discounts that can be applied, but first need the *** #. I told them they called me out of the blue and I wasn't able to get that to them right now. They took no more than 5 seconds with, ' Ok, I understand. Call us back when you're ready'. I am upset after doing what I thought to be a good research of this company ie; checking with BBB, contacting the company via phone and spoke with an agent. Explained my concerns with companies of this nature but was assured that with company I would never have to worry because they stood 100% behind their contracts and would every thing meet the needs of their customers.
