Never again. I waited in a line in the terminal to check in with my drivers license and credit card and was directed to go to the garage. I got into a line there where I was told since I had checked in at the terminal I didn't need to wait in that line, I needed to wait in the OTHER line. There were 3 attendants who after you showed them your ID, "escorted" to your car where you signed an iPad type device. If I ever have to rent a car again and if I have a choice, I will never rent from Enterprise again! When we started the process, I called the Orlando location twice(2) times to ensure that we could be picked up. On the day of my rental, I called and finally was told by an off site location that the " airport location does not have the manpower to pick up renters". There were people standing around when we got there!
Katiedee I was unhappy with my selection. I asked for a economy car and I wanted to upgrade to a mid size car. They gave me a mini van with no leg room in the back. My friend was very uncomfortable no room for feet. The oxygen tank was squished to put in the car. Very unsatified.
The Chrysler Town and Country we received from MCO was authentic compared to the one we received from SRQ and dropped off at MCO. It appeared to be a knockoff; not to mention, I left my laptop adapter in that one May 15th and when I return to the country two weeks later it was not found just as my tablet wasn't found February 22nd in a car I returned to SRQ.
Overall, I was not happy with the service provided. I chose to get a mid sized vehicle. Upon arrival, I payed the $200+ for the car. But when my fiancé and I got there, all the mid sized cars were gone except a Fiat.. Too small so the enterprise guy told us about getting a SUV.. He told us that the actual total ($400+) was added with the $200+ I had already paid so the the upgrade was only $200+... We left the airport with was a ford focus hatchback. As we got down the road found it was running very rough. We made it to our condo but the second time we got in the car we were given a warning "this vehicle needs OIL"! We called Enterprise and asked for a new vehicle. Second vehicle ran no better than the 1st one, at least no warnings, ha. I'm wondering if these vehicles are being serviced on time. I'll stick with my preferred rental company. Car was missing two caps for tire pressure valves, and the other two were very loose. This is the SECOND time this has happened to me. The previous time I was in Western Michigan when the tire pressure light went on, after getting the car at the Detroit airport, and the Enterprise road service people said there was nothing they could do since it was too far from the airport to send me another car. Just awful. I had a 14.94 enterprise on-line reservation. The agent does the contract and charges me 70.00 some odd dollars. After 15 minutes of wasting my time they redo it. When I turned in the car in Ocala the next day the rep says Orlando messed up your contract you will have to "talk" to them to get it straight.Here in lies the BID problem. Wanted a compact car and got a Chevy Volt. Electric/Hybrid with a flaky gas system. Filled it to the top with gas when returning and it showed 3/4 full, Enterprise clerk could not read the gas gauge and said she always had problems. I rented the car for 26 hours and drove about 3 hours. Low tire light came on and clerk was not concerned. This Enterprise does great business so I may try again next time I am in on business trip.
