Needing a new roof can be stressful, but from start to finish my mind was put at ease. Salesman showed me the materials and explained everything that would be installed. Erie Home installed very nice looking *** *******black graphite shingles on my 2820sqft single story home. Underlayment was water proof not just water resistant. They provided a thorough upfront review, negotiation occurred on initial $55k estimate which wasn't realistic. Installation crew was excellent showing me condition of roof after removing old shingles and then again after roof was completed showing me what they'd done. Four separate ridge vents were installed. Had our roof done by Erie. The price was a little higher, however they use higher quality materials that I feel justified the cost. The job was done in one full day with the removal of the old shingles, the replacement of a few of the decking panels, two lengths of a heavier ice and water shield, new heavy duty rubber boots around the vents, new flashing and drip edge. After it was finished, they picked up everything and ran all around the house with a magnet to ensure there were no loose nails that were missed.
