Great for a one-night layover The airport shuttle only runs during certain hours and by appointment only, so that was inconvenient to find out upon arriving in Anchorage at midnight, but that was a miscommunication on Expedia's end not the hotel. When we did arrive, the woman working the front desk was very kind, upbeat, and incredibly helpful in providing us with amenities, such as toothbrushes, that we didn't have. Nice hotel, close to shopping The best feature about the hotel is that it is within walking distance to the museum and 5th ave mall. We enjoyed the pool also.

close to town Great location, within walking distance of a lot of shops and eating establishments. The staff were very welcoming and informative and very helpful with any problems or questions.

Price is a very good bargin. I like the fact the hotel has a swinning pool and a spa.

Stay review Initially could not find reservations. Daily housekeeping not provided. Towels paper thin, hurt to use. Pillows cheap. Sheets scratchy. Extremely limited parking. Beds uncomfortable. Would not stay here again.

It would have been nice to know that their parking lot is very small and requires you to pay a $10 per night fee for a permit. If there are no permits available which there were not for the first night stay you have to pay the parking meter fees on the street if you are at the hotel during the 9-5 M-F timeframe. We had to park the first night on the street and be out to move our vehicle or pay the parking meter by 9am the next morning because it was a weekday. Sweat box The room was clean but the heating unit would blast hot air and I tried turning it down and it would never cool down. I opend the window for a bit but didnt want to leave it open all night. We sj oul have asked dor another room but I was traveling with a small child and she was already sleeping before I realized that the room wouldn't cool down.

Wrong picture and wrong hotel The picture for this hotel is for the other hotel across town. Since I prepaid for hotel I could not move. This hotel has no free parking on lot. $10 per night for a parking pass. In the downtown area and heard lots of confrontations out side my window. Typical website purchase, beware. I would be surprised if XXXX did anything about this. Or made it right.

Awesome place to stay in Downtown Anchorage! My husband and I stayed at Extended Stay for a night, along with our German Shepherd hound. First off, it was excellent to be able to stay with our dog and we did not feel that the quality of the place was compromised by the convenience of being pet-friendly. Very clean with cool decor. Not to mention, GREAT rates! We had a King-sized bed with a mini-kitchen and though it was somewhat small, it was perfect for our needs.
