Check in was difficult because I was sent to a room that had someone already staying in it. They finally got everything worked out and found me a room, but it was late and I was ready to just be in my room and sleep.

guest i booked a room for two on hotels.com. i called the morning of to add the other persons name because he told me he would be getting there before me. i spoke with a woman who supposedly took down the name and said he would be able to check in first. when he got there he was told he could not check in, that his name was not on the reservation, and even if it was he could not check in because i booked the room so they had to see MY ID to access the room? i travel a lot and have never heard of this.
