Clean tidy and comfortable- my only issue is a strange knock noise that woke me up often I believe it’s from the refrigerator

My initial contact with Curtis the desk attendant left me uneasy. I do not drive due to an advanced visual impairment. I shared that and kindly and I believe, politely asked for a room that I did not have to drive around to. He looked up at me and gave me a strange look. When I said "what was the look for" he began to ask me repeatedly "are you okay?" "Are you sure you're okay?". I found this to be very rude, confrontational and uncalled for. There's a faint wet dog smell in the halls because they allow pets. It's very easy to get on and off the highway, and it is close to a lot of fast food places and a grocery store.
