This was a good place to stay for three nights with basic amenities--a nice 2-star hotel. The staff were all friendly, professional, well dressed and courteous. It was safe, secure, clean, and well managed. The immediate surrounding neighborhood was mostly industrial and my car was secure in the hotel parking lot. Had it not been UofI Homecoming weekend, what I was charged ($706) would have bought a much better accommodation elsewhere. A few complaints: 1. Okay hotel but rude staff My day started off rough because the I got all my stuff up the elevator to the door and the keys that he had just swiped wouldn't work so he wanted me to come back downstairs and push that heavy cart with all my items on it back down the steps to get new keys he didn't want to come and handle the situation and bring me new keys I had driven a long ways hours and hours and was tired and just wanted to get in my room and relax.
