Too Noisy during the night and early morning i asked the manager Shannon at check-in if this hotel would be a party place like others are in the area (which i stayed in prior to this trip). she said "no" and that she never had any nightly disturbances i described to her at the "other" hotel during her tenure at ESA. Room 118 right next to the storage room and elevator was a night mare. Did not meet expectations The only good thing about this hotel was the room was clean. No pool, no hot water, not cold water always warm, and bed was harder than cement. Small kitchen, but you have to "check out" dishes and silverware(2 of everything for 4 people) They charge you for cleaning your room and give you clean towels daily. We were there 4 days and our room was never touched. Gratis WIFI, et reklamestunt Hotellets internetkapacitet var ekstremt ringe, og det hjalp ikke at bede om hjælp i receptionen. Hotellet kan være svært at finde, og de er ikke gode til at gøre rent. Hvis man kalder kaffe og tørkage til at tage med for morgenmad, ja så har de det på et ca. 1 m langt bord. Værelset var godt nok, men rengøringen ikke særlig god. Vi kan ikke anbefale dette hotel.

Very disappointed Upon check-in, I had to initial that I understood the "No smoking" policy and that I agreed to be charged $250 if I smoked in the room. I'm not a smoker; no problem. So what's the first thing I smell when I opened the door of my "No smoking" room! It was bad. And half a cellophane cigarette-pack wrapper was on the desk. I immediately went back to the front desk and they wouldn't/couldn't do a thing about it. They wouldn't give me a discount, or a different room. Not comfortable Location was great to get to and from downtime Charleston! However, rooms were small and cramped, beds were HORRIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE . Didn't sleep a wink. Rooms were hit and sticky and reeked if fish! I will never stay here again!

Not much customer service for travelers I picked this place for its proximity to the Charleston port and downtown. Unfortunately, they would not allow us to check in before 3:00 p.m. and would not hold our bags so we could explore Charleston. Because of this we cancelled the second night since we would be returning from a cruise in the early a.m. and wanted to be able to leave our bags in a safe location and visit various sites in the area. I regret to say... I regret to say this hotel wasn't up to my expectation. It was clean and the local staff did a very good job taking care of us. The issue we had was directly connected to getting much needed rest for the business event we payed for. The beds were hard and seemed to be old and the pillows were new but non were comfortable, (the pillows could be deemed a personal effect), but the beds being hard were unanimous in our group and lead to sleepless nights. A place to sleep and that's about all It was what we considered only a half a step above a roach motel. The price was way to high for a place like this. The only positive note was the free carriage ride ticket.
