Not as before I have stayed at several of Extended Stay Properties, and this was one of the worst.
Nice employees not so nice room The Staff was very nice and welcoming but beyond that the rooms were small, the shower had very low water pressure and the air conditioning unit didnt work very well.
Not close to Va Beach at all... The site said the Hotel was 9.3 miles from Va. Beach. Not True, 27 miles away. I had to ask for towels twice, both times I was told they needed to wash more and it would be 30 minutes or so and I would have them.. Never got them, I had sneak into the laundry area and get towels myself... That's wrong no matter how you look at it.
One of my co-workers was bitten by bugs in her bed and spent more than half the night itching and trying to find the bugs.
No sense booking a reservation Thinking my reservations/prefrences were set in place (after a 6 hour drive to VA), imagine my (exhausted) "surprise" when the nite clerk informed me she 'couldn't find my paperwork". I TRIED to show her MY printed paperwork (confirmation/paid-in-full/request for ground floor accommadations/etc). She wouldn't even look at it. Not Impressed AT ALL My room was never cleaned, nor where the hallways. The woman at check out was very nice and friendly, but that was pretty much it.
Spend the extra money an go somewhere else The best part about this hotel was it was extremely close to the family i was visiting. With that said our overall stay was horrible. When i initially made the reservations it was for 2 adults and 2 children.After checking in we notice there are only 3 sets of washcloths and towels.After a call to the front desk to ask for an extra set we are told that thats all we are allowed to have per room.If thats he case why not only take reservations for 3 or less people??
