The woman working the front desk was sleeping when I arrived, granted it was late, but shouldn't be asleep on the job. The same woman was there upon check out and was very unpleasant to talk to. There was a stain on my sheets and the bed was not at all comfortable.

Dirty, Broken, Awful This hotel was one of the worst I remember staying at. The room was dirty, the door barely closed and was almost broken, the main A/C didn't work so had to use a wall unit. You didn't really want to touch anything in the room. If I wasn't so tired I might have just left and driven somewhere else instead. Also, they took a booking for a King and charged extra then told me they didn't even have King beds.

We reserved 4 rooms with king beds and non-smoking 1 month prior to our visit. When we arrived we were given rooms with queen beds and some of us had to have smoking rooms. They said that was the best they could do. Very disappointing when you think you have one thing and get another - it's too late to do anything at that point. Need to question whether we use this system in the future.

Left early Stayed one day at this hotel. The check in clerk had an attitude. We booked a non-smoking room, but were told there were only smoking rooms available. Mentioned to clerk that Illinois is a "Smoke Free" state and no smoking should even be allowed indoors. That rule didn't apply to this hotel I guess..... Room was nasty. Hot and smelled like smoke of course. Blanket under the nasty comforter on the bed was stained brown and had holes in it. TV was from the 1990s. 2nd time in a row a bad experience 2nd time. 2 consecutive Friday nights. Another horrible experience. Checked in after work very late. Same person, not @ desk, sleeping in the back. Had to wait 20 minutes AGAIN. Then gave me a room key to a room with dirty towels on the floor. Dirty dishes in the sink. Dirty glasses on the table. Bed unmade and the room totally filthy!! hotel It was dirty, the bed was hard...and the heat/a-c was not working correctly..Very noisy the room # was 321..Will never use this place again ....

Nothing like the pictures The hotel was not well cared for. The condition worsened as you got up to the "smokers" floor. I accidentally booked a smoking king sized room. However, the staff was able to switch us to a non-smoking queen room, with no reimbursement.

You Get What You Pay For The only reason I stayed here is because the price was significantly cheap among other Chicagoland hotels. I checked in around midnight and the front desk staff looked like they had just got out of bed--hair messed up, looking unprofessional, etc. The hotel building itself is quite old and had a musty feeling to it. Very standard and cheap.
