Dirty room, smells like in the castle 500 years old

Dirty , especially carpeting

The staff was friendly, the place was pretty clean but the bed was like sleeping on concrete. The microwave did not have a spin platter so food did not rotate. The fridge door was on backwards so opened on the wrong direction. The shower curtain was too small and did not cover the entire shower.
Staff was very good! Had to ask for items for the room, like the coffee pot... only to be given one that the pot was too small & you hold it up to the top in order for the coffee to come out. Glass plate in microwave was gone. Outside of the fridge & cabinets were dirty, sticky. Asked for a "do not disturb" sign, only to be told we wont be bothered by maids/housekeeping because they only come every 2 weeks...
The worst hotel in Illinois The room smelled like a wet dog, the carpet was filthy and moist, the bed was hard and the breakfast consistent of oatmeal packs, bars, mini muffins and coffee. They discounted the room by 50% cause they couldn't move us due to them being full because of an event. I would never stay there again!
It was nasty
Classic case of an outdated hotel asking for modern prices. Dirty toilets , missing doors on cabinets and rigged up outlet fixtures. The list can go on and I wish I can post the pictures i took!!!!!!!
Broken Elevator I was trapped in the elevator for 20 minutes. The staff was rude and inconsiderate. The description of breakfast included should be removed. There was dried ketchup or something on the wall.
