The front office was nice and the desk clerk was extremely nice but when we got into the room the window was open and it smelled like smoke. We arrived late and we were so tired we decided to stay. My daughter had breathing issues and I was a little worried. Got up and left first thing.

Room was worn. We got what we paid for and learned a lesson for next time.

Check in service was terrible. Rude clerk. The beds! Oh the beds, they were like sleeping on a rock slab. Terrible.

Stay away from Extended Stay Florence We were having a nice night. It was 2am, we were asleep, we get a knock on our door. Police. Apparently there was the smell of smoke. We get kicked out in the middle of the night by a hotel employee. WE WERE ASLEEP! We weren't smoking anything because we were asleep!
When you say pet friendly, it should be every room or you should indicate on the site that only limited room are. We booked then upon arrival were told no dog, so my daughter had to sleep in the car.. not a good ecpeeience
