Good for a quick visit. Hotel needs a facelift. Breakfast was grab and go, with very limited choices (oatmeal and muffin).
I booked this room thru the Hotels.com website for what I thought was a discounted price of $85. Once arriving to claim my reservation I was told by the receptionist/concierge that the room would only be $67. The only catch was I would have to pay for it by utilizing my credit card at the front desk. At this point I believed I was really getting a deal. Snow was in the forecast and I had pre-paid to attend a course in Ellicottt City the next morning. I was able to make the reservation at the last minute and the rate was reasonable. It was within close proximity to the course. The staff was friendly.
The staff was terrific. The heater and frig in the room were too noisy and had to be turned off.
a good long term place to stay I selected this hotel with some trepidation after reading some of the prior negative reviews. In the end I chose this hotel because the experienced reviewers had positive experiences. The negative reviews came from persons with one or two reviews only. EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD CHECKING IN BUT ROOM SMELLED STALE AND bathroom had no shower curtain, so big mess. no ice machine was inconvenient if you wanted TO BUY OR BRING SOMETHING IN. BED WAS COMFORTABLE BUT STINGY WITH PILLOWS AND BLANKETS
