Good things. Always happy to find a pet friendly hotel. We arrived later than midnight, but they still got us settled into a room quickly. We needed a late check out and they could accommodate us somewhat and did allow us to leave luggage while we needed Emergency Car Repair. A Firestone with Sunday service is within walking distance. The location was convenient to West DesMoines and Des Moines. Not so good: We used the pullout bed in the room and the mattress was quite stained. It was well equipped for "extended stay travelers" - as I was there for 1 nite it was very adequate for my needs and priced for my budget - the only disappointment, was the continental breakfast, which included nothing fresh or cooked and I am a breakfast kinda guy!

The hotel was recently remodeled so rooms were nice. Hotel was quiet for the most part. Staff was nice and accommodating. I especially liked that the hotel was in a secluded quite area. Not by major roads yet close enough to some great restaurants and shopping.

It was very good and superb location. Breakfast was little unexpected though. But otherwise it was a pleasant stay.
