Football weekend option We waited too late to book a hotel in Ann Arbor for a football weekend, and had no choice but the Extended Stay - next time we will simply look outside of Ann Arbor. Desk help was indifferent at best, except for Anthony who was very pleasant. Room was never cleaned though we asked for housekeeping and agreed to the additional $3/day for the service (yes, you have to pay extra for housekeeping.) Carperting throughout hotel was filthy, upholstered chair in room equally gross.

Stay Away!!! Upon arrival, the desk clerk and three maids were standing in desk area arguing. Desk clerk interrupted our check in to answer his personal phone twice. We arrived an hour after check in time and room was not prepared. Had ordered two twins but got one bed instead with no apology or explanation. Room was not clean. Second day we were there all mattresses and box springs were being replaced, they said that it would not interrupt our day, however, by 9:00 AM workmen were entering our room removing said items. unclean Whoever was supposed to clean the room needs to stop taking short cuts. Dropped my cuff links behind the night stand, moved it to retrieve them, and there was massive garbage back there. The people above me were loud as heck, walls too thin, idiots playing music at 8am. I won't be going back again.

Very (very) dirty... Ugh. Had to find a last minute hotel in Ann Arbor and this one was one of few available (and high $ at that). I've been to I think 3 extended stay hotels prior to this. Two were nice enough, and one not so much. This was the worst of the lot. Very dirty, sticky floors, hairs, etc. Won't describe the bed. Sort of that "bargain rate city motel" feel for a much higher rate. Maybe I had a bad room, but the whole vibe of the place was not clean. Front desk staff were pleasant enough though.

Only for the desperate good location completely offset by no frills atmosphere. Hard pillows and mattress, unexplained pipe noise in the middle of the night that woke us. Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Bathroom door would not close. At least it was close to campus.

ESA Not for me I stayed at the ESA in Ann Arbor while shooting a wedding in the area. So I needed a place with some room to spread my gear out and that would be secure. That was fine with this hotel. However, it was the little things that were really missing here. They did not have shampoo, which was annoying. The room was not clean (hairs in bathroom, lint balls in the carpet, etc). poor quality sheets While the rest of the room seemed clean enough, the bed sheets looked to be 25 years old- at first I thought they hadn't been changed from the previous guest, but then realized they were old and used up.

ESA Detroit-Ann Arbor They did not have my reservation in their system. Thank God I printed a copy of your confirmation and had with me. Desk lady at ESA spent 20 minutes on the phone with [...]and I was finally allowed to register. I didn't need that after a long hot work day and a 200 mile drive to get there.

Stay away if you have allrgies! The room was not cleaned well, there was 1/8 inch of dust on headboard of bed and bedside lamp. The walls seemed paper thin as every little noise could be heard. Don't plan on a good nights sleep as the freeway next to th hotel could be heard all night and it sounded like other hotel guest were having an all night party.
