Acceptable hotel The overnight front desk person was not hospitable at all. Overall very inattentive, not knowledgeable of useful services/businesses in the surrounding area, low level of professionalism, ordered me to get the door several times for incoming overnight guests. Very shocking for an out-of-town professional. Room was ok because sheets and towels appeared to be clean, but the room smell was very acute, noticeable and unusual. Less than mediocre in Ann Arbor, mi Room smelled bad. Had to purchase room freshner. Probably a smoker used this room. Bathroom light burned out, no maintenance, had to switch rooms. New room recliner was broken, maintenance, could not be switched until next day. Bedroom light burned out but was fixed same day. Wi-fi was erratic.

Stay Away.......worst stay I have ever had This is a terribly dirty and run down hotel, Shower did not work and toilet would not flush...I took many pictures to show management. the first night I had flown in late and could not rebook with another hotel. After, mentioning it to the manager and complaining to hotels.com, he took off the one night price. I had a meeting the following day in a different city and stayed a nice and clean hotel, but had to return to Ann Arbor the following evening to catch a flight out from Detroi... read more

Open door and marajuana We came to Ann Arbor for a wedding. Sadly the Hilton, where all of our friends were staying, was sold out. We opted to go with what was next door. When we arrived there was no one behind the desk. Finally someone showed up and seemed very confused about how to get us checked in. After a good half an hour, we were on our way up to our room. Run down, not very clean, musty smell of smoking This was a D-. The Hotel is run down and not very clean. The rooms are very run down with chips in the paint in the rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen nets are not clean and both rooms we stayed in had a strong musty smokers smell.

Dreary; not particularly welcoming This was my first (likely last) visit at an "Extended Stay". I tried it for the favorable rate, but in the end it really isn't worth it, particularly with so many other options nearby at nearly comparable prices. Regardless of it not being meant for short stays, I found it to be fairly run-down and tired. The room was adequate; nothing to complain about (contains a full kitchen), just not a very uplifting place to be. Staff was fine; they try, but seem a bit overwhelmed.
