The lady working their at night didn't know anything and it took her almost 20-30 minutes to get everything and get our room key...I was very unsatisfied!

You get what you pay for at Extended Stay America Pros: Room was really clean, WIFI was excellent, room was quiet, lots of hot water for shower, service staff was accommodating and pleasant. Cons: Lobby and elevator smelled of cigarettes, furnishings were cheap - mattress hard, pillows thin, utensils and crockery cheap and nasty.

Desk staff friendly. This was our second stay here. We were not pleased this time with the odor of smoke although a non-smoking room. It was an OK place but will look somewhere else on our next trip.

frigid reception This hotel is functional - no frills, a bit worn around the edges. We only stayed one night and I was relieved it wasn't longer. Reception was perfunctory and unfriendly, and when I had to return to the desk because my key wouldn't open the room door, the reception clerk heaved a sigh and wordlessly led me up to the room where he proceeded to insert the key and, again wordlessly, demonstrate the proper way to open the door (which simply involved pushing the plastic key hard into the slot, which I hadn't done... read more

Not really a Hotel I was turned off by the lack of room service (unless you pay 5 bucks each). My fridge was useless because I had to turn it off to sleep - it sounded like a thompson gun. I don't think this should be considered a hotel; listed as such. It's not apples to apples since there's no room service, no work out facility, no breakfast option... just a bare-bones efficiency with beat up furniture and a microwave.

Extended Stay America Frederick - Westview Dr. I am not one to complain but I have to say that this was not a very pleasant place to stay. The room smelled. Some one actually came into our room while we we out and smoked in our room even though we had a do not disturb sign on our door. They had looked in our fridge as well and moved things around. It was very very unsettling! The general hallways even smelled. The staff was not happy. There was usually no one at the front desk. Most of the staff could not speak English. The ... read more

If I hadn't had my kids & it hadn't been so late.. If it hadn't been so late and my kids so tired, I would have turned around and either demanded another room (which might have been difficult as there evidently wasn't an overnight attendant at the front desk) or I wouldn't have stayed. The second I opened the door to our room, I caught the scent of urine. Don't know if some kid (or person) had previously urinated on the carpet or one of the mattresses, but it made me want to leave. Was a good stay overall Nice place, convenient to highway, room clean, bed nice, was put off that the nite person could not speak English! That ruined it for me.
