Extended Stay America Frederick - Westview Dr. I am not one to complain but I have to say that this was not a very pleasant place to stay. The room smelled. Some one actually came into our room while we we out and smoked in our room even though we had a do not disturb sign on our door. They had looked in our fridge as well and moved things around. If I hadn't had my kids & it hadn't been so late.. If it hadn't been so late and my kids so tired, I would have turned around and either demanded another room (which might have been difficult as there evidently wasn't an overnight attendant at the front desk) or I wouldn't have stayed. The second I opened the door to our room, I caught the scent of urine. Don't know if some kid (or person) had previously urinated on the carpet or one of the mattresses, but it made me want to leave. Was a good stay overall Nice place, convenient to highway, room clean, bed nice, was put off that the nite person could not speak English! That ruined it for me.

I had a handicap room where the show head did not come down very hard to shower. Bed was hard and verry uncomfortable

Not the bang you expect for your buck The hotel is not as nice as you would expect for the price. We had no hot water in the shower and didn't realize until 9:30pm..

Not as nice as expected This is an early version of extended stay hotels that is showing its age. The location was nice and the staff very friendly. The room was clean, but dated. Mildew in the bath, very cheap cabinets in the kitchen, a stale smoke smell in the hall, and thin walls left us wondering how this hotel was so highly rated by others.
