Cigarette Smoke The hotel smelled terribly. The cigarette smell throughout the hallways and the rooms was overwhelming. The only reason I did not leave is because we had 3 rooms and 8 people to move. The windows opened wide, so we stayed. There were full size refrigerators and freezers, but housekeeping seemed to neglect them. There was someone else's left-overs in the freezer. Disappointing stay Arrived at 3pm (checkin time) and found our room was not ready. There were 4 of us and one room was ready so we went to their room to wait for ours. (told 4pm) At 4:20 I went down to see if it was done as the lady at the front desk told me they would bring us our room keys at 4. They gave me the keys and she came down to see if it was clean. Disappointing location of hotel is good - many other hotels, restaurants, shopping, movie theaters, etc. close by. Hotel turned out to be very very basic... no one at front desk at 11pm, room was non-smoking but 3rd floor hallway smelled of smoke so bad it was nauseating, beds were basic old mattress & bedspread - not comfy pillow-top with down duvet. As further comment: "studio"=hotel room with kitchenette...not a suite where living area is separate from sleeping area. Description that says "complimentary toiletries" = bar ... read more

The lady working their at night didn't know anything and it took her almost 20-30 minutes to get everything and get our room key...I was very unsatisfied!

You get what you pay for at Extended Stay America Pros: Room was really clean, WIFI was excellent, room was quiet, lots of hot water for shower, service staff was accommodating and pleasant. Cons: Lobby and elevator smelled of cigarettes, furnishings were cheap - mattress hard, pillows thin, utensils and crockery cheap and nasty.

Desk staff friendly. This was our second stay here. We were not pleased this time with the odor of smoke although a non-smoking room. It was an OK place but will look somewhere else on our next trip.

frigid reception This hotel is functional - no frills, a bit worn around the edges. We only stayed one night and I was relieved it wasn't longer. Reception was perfunctory and unfriendly, and when I had to return to the desk because my key wouldn't open the room door, the reception clerk heaved a sigh and wordlessly led me up to the room where he proceeded to insert the key and, again wordlessly, demonstrate the proper way to open the door (which simply involved pushing the plastic key hard into the slot, which I hadn't done... read more

Not really a Hotel I was turned off by the lack of room service (unless you pay 5 bucks each). My fridge was useless because I had to turn it off to sleep - it sounded like a thompson gun. I don't think this should be considered a hotel; listed as such. It's not apples to apples since there's no room service, no work out facility, no breakfast option... just a bare-bones efficiency with beat up furniture and a microwave.
