Close to uptown expensive stores and eateries but wasn't an expensive place to stay. BUT: refrigerator and air conditioner were too loud in the room. Kept me up at night.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a little disappointing. There was no decaf coffee when I went down, and the selection of muffins was lacking, A little more variety and may be some juice would have been nice.

The second stay was much better than first. Checking in was faster and wonderful person. The room was nicer with 2 queen beds than the king suite. Furniture was in better condition. The bath floor could use some repair especially in the corners. But overall for the one night stay for what was needed it was good.

When check in person was so rude the hotel smelled like maeihuana and I asked for a room away from smell and he told me do I cancel your reservation then with a terrible attitude. Check out was smooth and both front desk people were kind I even left something in the room and the lady was kind enough to go upstairs for it for me.

Love and hate but easy to find and park The night manager was great when we checked in. Fast helpful and informed of the area. Beds were super comfortable fresh and clean bedding with good heavy towels The hotel is in horrible need of a remodel. 1/2 of the fixtures needed bulbs, carpets worn out showers and bath like a 1950's truck stop. It was quiet and the AC was Alaska cold so the price is right for what you get.
