Wouldn't recommend. Where do I start. Check in was a hustle, took me 20 minutes waiting outside and a call to hotels.com for me to be able to check in. I did let them know we were driving 8 hours to get there ans that we were going to be late. The door was locked for good reason, there was drunk toothless guy calling and knocking at the door for them to open, calling me "suga and sweet buns" although didn't even looked at him. Location is great lots of fun places near by to eat or hang out close to museum district and zoo

I was taking a friend to the MD Anderson cancer hospital for treatment, and this motel is just across the street from it. It couldn't have been in any more convenient, for the patient or for me! The beds were comfortable, and the room was large, with a recliner, couch, and kitchen. There wasn't a coffee maker, however. I should've carried a cup and some Folger's coffee singles. So-so The desk clerk was unhelpful multiple times. For ex., she gave us 2 keys, neither of which worked, which left us standing out in a rain trying to get in a side door with a bunch of luggage.

This property was a great value and included a kitchenette with a full sized refrigerator. The unit was spacious and had great water pressure in the shower. Down sides are some neighboring rooms were loud and we had to call the front desk. They did address the problem. The front desk staff seemed overworked, and they ran out of clean towels and we had to wait for a few hours to get fresh towels. Front desk also closed from 11pm until 7am.
