Homestead Kansas City Shawnee Mission We found used condom under bed when we moved it kind of disgusting. Makes you wnder if they really cleaned the room before we arrived or if our sheets were the ones used at the time the condom was used. Also was told room would not be cleaned during race weekend which was fine however we did not even get coffee for the next day so we were kind of disappointed. Fridge did not freeze the ice it was melting as we took it out of the freezer.

Lots of trees It was like a country setting off of a busy highway, lots of trees, lots of shade. Quiet

botched checkin, room was giving to wrong person First, I want to say that they went out of their way to make the problem right... but. I have a common name. Some guy with the same name came in before me and they gave him my room. When I got there it took a while to see what the problem was. I had paid for a room with two beds. Their answer was to put us in two different rooms - which was fine, but they said one would have to be a smoking room. Homestead KC feedback I came to KC for a couple Dj gigs and I chose Homestead. The room was great. This trip was great. The hotel wasn't far from downtown KC & that's always a plus.

Stay here!! Even though we had to wait 1.5 hours after check-in for our room to be clean, it gave my boyfriend and I an opportunity to drive around the city, which is very nice by the way! The scenery was beautiful and we found ourselves wishing we could spend more time "touring". The staff at the front desk (I believe his name was Lee) was very nice and apologetic for the inconvenience and waived the $5 internet fee. He even called later to make sure everything was satisfactory. I would DEFINITELY stay here again!
