Disappointed the room had an odor to it. Probably just being old. Needs an update on the room I stayed in. Felt stale in there.

Stay somewhere else I reserved a non-smoking room for 2 nights. The "non-smoking" room that I was given reeked of smoke and even came equipped with an ashtray! The best the front desk could do for me was offer me some air freshener. The room and hotel were pretty tired and beat up as well. I checked out a day earlier and went to another hotel.

Stale smoke smell The room was a non smoking room, but it smelled like stale smoke, as well as the hallways. Consequently, we smelled like stale smoke as well. I would not stay here again for that reason.

Last resort This was a last resort for my family as we had a wedding this weekend. Every hotel in Lexington was no vacancy due to a college football game and opening weekend for keeneland horse racing. Reaked of smoke, stains on floor and felt like you were in a dungeon. Staff was nice however it was not a comfortable stay for my family.

Grimy and Old, not recommended We stayed at this hotel due to the generally positive reviews and its convenience for our family visit. Next time we will stay elsewhere. The whole place needs a freshening up very badly. It felt unclean and unpleasant. There was a pervasive cigarette smell even though our room was nonsmoking, as were all of the rooms around us. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and helped us in getting more soap, toilet paper, dish soap, etc. It was pretty inexpensive, but not worth the money. We will ... read more

Not Good Hotel was a little out dated. I had ask for a roll away bed to be in the room and when we arrived they did not have any. My daughter who is 5'9" had to sleep on a chair that made into a bed. Not a place I would recommend to anyone.

ESA Tates Creek-Lexington, KY BEWARE! This place looked like a halfway house of some kind. It had old fixtures, a horrible bed and was noisy. The heater was the only good thing. It was so loud it drowned out the yelling and slamming doors in the hallways.
