Just fine for the price... I booked this room before reading the reviews and then became VERY nervous for what to expect. The service was just ok. The breakfast to go was disappointing, although the coffee was great! The hotel is pretty run down, but our room was clean and comfortable. We were very satisfied, and pleasantly surprised, considering the great low rate we paid.
Cheaper room farther from the airport. Small coffee area and they were out of cups. Only packaged muffins or snack bars for breakfast. Only two chairs and no TV for a lobby area, so I ate my packaged muffin in the laundry room where they have a TV. The room was cheap. Sometimes you get what you pay for...
Nice place for an extended visit to Twin Cities This was my first night spent in an extended stay hotel. The room was large with a full kitchen and full sized refrigerator freezer. You simply call the desk and get coffee maker, plates and silverware. I should have stopped for groceries before checking into the hotel. But there is food available for purchase next to the front desk. There was no ice and the ice trays in the freezer were empty so it took some time to get ice. some renovation would not be bad... Personal OK, Area OK, Location OK, Cleaning OK, some renovation are needed like the carpets, some furniture, the bathroom.
Great even for short stays Extended stay is a perfect middle grounds between a motel (which can be inexpensive but poorly maintained) and a hotel (which might be luxurious but definitely for a price). As long as you know the policies beforehand (no room service for 7 days unless you pay an extra fee, kitchenette but need utensils etc to use, breakfast is grab and go including coffee/hot chocolate, oatmeal, muffins and granola bars) you should be fine. Everything was nice except the carpet in the room was a little bit sticky. Some dust, but overall pretty clean.
