some renovation would not be bad... Personal OK, Area OK, Location OK, Cleaning OK, some renovation are needed like the carpets, some furniture, the bathroom.
Great even for short stays Extended stay is a perfect middle grounds between a motel (which can be inexpensive but poorly maintained) and a hotel (which might be luxurious but definitely for a price). As long as you know the policies beforehand (no room service for 7 days unless you pay an extra fee, kitchenette but need utensils etc to use, breakfast is grab and go including coffee/hot chocolate, oatmeal, muffins and granola bars) you should be fine. Everything was nice except the carpet in the room was a little bit sticky. Some dust, but overall pretty clean.

Plus and Minuses Handy location fairly close to MSP airport. Nice to have amenities such as a fridge and microwave. However, TV didn't work and there was no hairdryer. When I called about the hairdryer they didn't believe me and had to come in to verify that it wasn't bolted to the wall, and then couldn't offer me a replacement. Keep your expectations low and you'll probably be satisfied.

needs work Just needed a basic room with bed for the night while waiting for an early flight. Close enough to the airport that it was an easy drive in the morning. The carpet in the hallways was pulling up at the seams. The room was small but sufficient.The bathroom had paint peeling on the walls and there was no soap or shampoo. Had to walk down to the front desk to get it. I wouldn't want to be here if I was on a vacation.

Interesting experience First time staying at an extended stay type hotel. we were not given full instructions on dealing with some items like availability of kitchen ware being available at the front desk or the fact that you have to empty your own trash. The most disappointing factor however was the lack of cleanliness of the room. It was like they had not cleaned up after the last guests. Dirty bathroom, dirty floor and dirty microwave oven.
