used this hotel as a base to visit New Orleans; hotel per se is ok. Distance to downtown is perfectly manageable. Disappointing is that for having a decent Internet speed you actually have to pay (i.e. WIFI is really not for free as promoted) and the so-called included breakfast consists of coffee, muffins and fruit "grab and go", i.e. no place to sit down to eat. Bueno por el precio. Mi estancia fue buena y tranquila. Bueno por el precio. Tuve que extender mi estancia un par de dias y todo bien. Si haces la reservacion en linea en la pagina de Extended Stay America, es mucho mas caro.

Need a place to stay? Stay here! Staff was very nice and welcoming when we needed to check in early. We loved being able to cook in our room and save some money - just bring your own pans if you can; ours smoked so bad they kept setting off the smoke alarm in the room! Very convenient to I-10/Airport/Downtown New Orleans.

Great stay, not excellent. Overall, a pretty good stay. The door to our room was very difficult to open...I think due to a slope in the door caused by the humidity...after walking down the halls, I noticed most doors had the same slope. The shower water took a while to warm up and I thought it may have been broken, but it turned out that it just needed 5 or 6 minutes to warm up. Jazz Fest stay Kind of a bare bones hotel. There was a small kitchen in the room which was nice but there was no ice machine in the hotel - odd. Hair dryers were available from the front desk. Staff was great- very accommodating and helpful! Room was clean and furnished nicely. Great location to get to Jazz Fest if you are driving.
