Frenchman Not bad for the price. I think it was less than 10 minutes to the French Quarter. Plenty of spots to eat and shop around hotel too.
Average business hotel Serviceable, comfortable enough, but there plenty of better options in the NO area. I do like that you can open the room windows and the air conditioner worked really well. Kitchen efficiency is helpful for longer stays. Almost no amenities otherwise. Please note: Your sheets and towels will not be changed daily unless you ask, and there may be a fee involved. (I can appreciate how much energy that saves, but some travelers may not go for it.)
Great family hotel! My family and I loved the layout of the room and especially the kitchenette! We stayed 2 nights. Our only complaint was the water. We did not have hot water in the bathroom sink or the kitchen sink. There was hot water in the shower/tub combo, but the faucet was complicated. Perhaps the guests prior to us did not let the staff know so the hotel did not know. Being in the business, I understand that issues arise. Cool Water Staff was cool including the water.....NO HOT WATER there
great hotel for everyone The hotel was undergoing renovations at the time but my husband and I were comfortable. The helpfulness and positive attitude and energey from the staff made up for some of the accomodations. The staff were able to make recommendations on where to go, great places to eat, and things to see. We left feeling like we made new friends. :-) We will definitely go back.
What you want is what you get If you want to save money, go to this place. If you want amenities, go someplace else.
Great room for the price in NO. Easy access to Veterans Memorial Drive
Convenient to the highway to resume travel the next morning.
