Yes, but! Laverne at the front desk is world class and I will return because of her. My issue is that I have asthma and asked for a non-smoking room. It was not. Could smell the old nicotine when I hit the door and woke up coughing with a sore throat. But I will return and Laverne will make sure I get the right room. That I am sure.

value hotel This hotel was clean, affordable, and a great place to stop near New Orleans. I would recommend it!

4 out of 10 I was not super impressed with the hotel but since i booked the hotel in such a short notice i was glad to have some where to stay that was close enough to down town with an affordable price. We stayed two nights and we never received maid service, and the showers were cold for the most part. The front desk did not have any maps, or brochures of things to do in and around the city which was a disappointment because i have never been to new orleans so i was lost for about half of day one.

NEEDS ADDITIONAL HELP & COORDINATION Hotel was understaffed at check-in. We needed directions over the phone: never got it but managed to get there. Our appointed room had been cleaned but still had food in the fridge and a used t-shirt on the bed, so they relocated us immediately. Front desk clerk was very decent and apologetic and she wanted to do a good job, but seemed overwhelmed with the desk, the phone & having to go herself to pick up the food & the clothes, etc...

Friendly Staff Great spot for a last minute stay, the staff was friendly. The hotel was nice but could use some updates.

Nice set up for extended stay or overnight. In town for a conference. The front desk attendant was very helpful and attentive. The room was very nice and it looks like a nice set up for an extended stay with the little 2-burner stove, sink, few dishes and pots for use, as well as a full-size refrigerator even though I was only there for one night. Also the bed and pillows very comfortable.

A good place to stay near New Orleans We booked this hotel on the same day. We drove from Austin, TX to New Orleans and we wanted a place that was sort of close to the city as well as affordable. This was the best option for us. We had a few problems with our room. That is why I gave a low rating for room cleanliness. But the staff who was in charge did accommodate us.
