Overall staff was fine. Beds were comfortable. Too Was clean. However no coffee maker like before, iron board was missing. Closets had a bad smell so we just kept the doors closed and didn’t use. Staff extremely friendly and kind

Room great for price. Previous person must have had a dog because it did need sweep better. Room smelled odd but assumed it was the previous person’s pet? Windows opened so we just left it open all night. Kitchen actually had a sign that said if you were cooking to open window some. We did not use the kitchen as we were only passing through and sleeping there. Bed was adequate but could use a couple extra pillows. Overall good stay for price and would recommend.

This property is better than the one in Newport News Va. The air conditioning in 328 ran constantly and had to be shut off by removing the plug from wall socket. The wall control did not turn it off nor control the temperature. The unit kept the room cold but due to a possible thermostat issue too cold.The unit had a mildew issue. Trash containment is a bit of a problem. This may just be a people problem because they don't use good sense when emptying trash.

1st time ever staying in Yorktown Room was nice & clean. Front desk was courteous & answered all my questions. Even had a view of the lake near the property. It's close to the highway & convenient to everything in the area. Would stay again.

Overnight shelter- wasn’t looking for anything fan Location: easy access. Felt generally safe. Didn’t find people hanging around outside. Toilet: clean. Breakfast: muffin, breakfast bar, oatmeal packets. Hot stuff: coffee and water. Kitchen there but didn’t see cooking utensils or cleaning soaps. Probably available at office.
