Worst Hotel I have ever stayed This was probably the worst hotel experience. We arrived around 1am to the hotel and the first room was supposed to be a non-smoking it wasn't. We requested another room which still had a smokers odor along with bugs on the bed, stained carpet and dingy. My wife slept in a chair with her coat on and hood zipped. Serious maintenance needed Every time I come there the kitchen and bathroom cabinets are busted in the rooms. For this "extended stay" establishment, you now have to ask for the basics like cups, plates, utensils, coffee pots. These items should be standard. I actually had a clock in my room during my last visit. The fitness room is anything but. Out of the three machines, only one worked. Extended Stay America I technically lived in an ESA for 2 months during hurricane sandy in Ramsey NJ. I Loved ESA ever since and thought it would be perfect to stay 2 nights in Philly for a soccer game. Once we got there, the hallways had a funky smell to it. Then to make it worse, the room we were assigned to REEKED of cigarette smoke and the main light did not work. We asked for another room and the only one they had available was a handicapped room.
