Could use better beds The Homestead was what I had expected after researching and reading the ratings on line. This is a clean, no frills motel which is what we were looking for. The front desk staff were more than helpful and very friendly even when we checked in at 1:00am. You have to ask for extra or clean towels and linens but again this was what we expected and really liked the idea that no one would be entering our room while we were gone - unless we requested something. A few issues, but not terrible Comfy bed, the sitting area was nice. No frills hotel. We stayed there because the fourth night was free. The shower and tub were not cleaned properly. There were isolated little black hairs. Not a whole bunch, but enough to gross you out. The location was okay...It was kind of inconvenient that there was a divider in the road so that you could only turn right out of the parking lot.
