No breakfast on the weekend In reviewing expedia site in setting up my reservation at homestead-phila,it states they serve breakfast all the time.However upon checking in we are told only mon-fri only.If i had known this i may have chosen a diffrent location.also the location if you use either googgle maping or mapquest they will tell you to take first exit which is wrong because roadway is separated by concrete island.you must take 2nd exit for malvern.

Could use better beds The Homestead was what I had expected after researching and reading the ratings on line. This is a clean, no frills motel which is what we were looking for. The front desk staff were more than helpful and very friendly even when we checked in at 1:00am. You have to ask for extra or clean towels and linens but again this was what we expected and really liked the idea that no one would be entering our room while we were gone - unless we requested something. A few issues, but not terrible Comfy bed, the sitting area was nice. No frills hotel. We stayed there because the fourth night was free. The shower and tub were not cleaned properly. There were isolated little black hairs. Not a whole bunch, but enough to gross you out. The location was okay...It was kind of inconvenient that there was a divider in the road so that you could only turn right out of the parking lot. The location was good for my needs. The floor in the kitchen was sticky (not properly cleaned). Needed to use the restroom when entering to check-in - was told "no public restrooms" - so I stated I needed to get to my room to use the restroom - during the whole check-in process (which took too long), it was not mentioned that there were restrooms steps away from the lobby, next to the elevator. I will be back to the area for business in the future - will make it a point not to stay there again.

Badly in need of updating, chipped paint and old furniture. Mattress was plastic covered. Smelt bad, no glasses or utensils in room - had to ask for those separately. Had to wait over 15mins for some one to show up to check in. Would not stay there again
