Nice Hotel, Poor Mattress The location was good, the staff was nice, the amenities were good, but the mattress was awful! Hard as a rock and I ended up sleeping on the sofa because it was more comfortable.

It was fine but... The bathroom had mold and that shows evidence of long term lack of attention.

No breakfast on the weekend In reviewing expedia site in setting up my reservation at homestead-phila,it states they serve breakfast all the time.However upon checking in we are told only mon-fri only.If i had known this i may have chosen a diffrent location.also the location if you use either googgle maping or mapquest they will tell you to take first exit which is wrong because roadway is separated by concrete island.you must take 2nd exit for malvern.

Could use better beds The Homestead was what I had expected after researching and reading the ratings on line. This is a clean, no frills motel which is what we were looking for. The front desk staff were more than helpful and very friendly even when we checked in at 1:00am. You have to ask for extra or clean towels and linens but again this was what we expected and really liked the idea that no one would be entering our room while we were gone - unless we requested something. A few issues, but not terrible Comfy bed, the sitting area was nice. No frills hotel. We stayed there because the fourth night was free. The shower and tub were not cleaned properly. There were isolated little black hairs. Not a whole bunch, but enough to gross you out. The location was okay...It was kind of inconvenient that there was a divider in the road so that you could only turn right out of the parking lot. After letting the front desk know we had no heat and we asked if there were portable heaters since we were told there weren’t any available rooms to switch we were told we would get a return call which never happened even after we called down two more times but luckily there was a stove in the suite so we turned on both burners to warm the room up on a 28 degree night, needless to say we won’t be returning
