Need care and renovations

Dirty and Stinky I had lost my phone. It was very hard for me to find the hotel. When I finally found it I needed to email my family to let them know I was safe. There was no computer available to use and the front desk attendant said he could not send an email. (like he didn’t have a phone? ) The hotel was gross and my room smelled like someone had been smoking in it for years. When I turned on the air conditioner it stunk to high heaven. The property is very old. Needs to be updated. The first room I got was on the 1st floor and the windows didn’t shut. I did not feel safe at all. The kitchen appliances were very dated. very dingy. I asked for a safer room. The staff was very accommodating. They put me on the 3rd floor. The windows still didn’t lock but was fine for 2 nights. Room was a little cleaner but the shower leaked really bad. They didn’t restock the toilet paper and it was iffy if I could get extra linens. The only redeeming quality was the staff bu... read more

Lack of someone at the desk, there was always a sign saying we’ll be right back. But almost never was someone there. And the lack of towels and washclothes was not acceptable. And when we checked out, we asked for a receipt. The person we finally found said it wasn’t policy to give out receipts. Are you kidding me?
