It was supposed to be a non smoking hotel. Elevator and halls on 2nd floor reeked of cigarette smoke. The last day we were there they must have sprayed the hall and elevator because it now had a floral smell. We had a square table in our room to eat at, but NO chairs. Insulation between floors is horrible. People in the room above ours were up very late clomping around like a herd of elephants.No hair dryer in the room, I had to go to the front desk to get one. When we checked into the room there was full trash bag in the bathroom, a used bar of soap on the shower ledge, bottles of water and a watermelon in the fridge, a phone charger was left plugged into an outlet and someone’s personal cup/dishes left on counter along with coffee/creamer and stuff in the cabinet. The beds were made and new soap/towels in the bath. When the front desk was made aware he came to the room to check. Room was not cleaned trash was all over no towels in bathroom no blankets on bed infact previous person had the sheets in a ball on the bed
Only issue I had are the towels were clean but had black stains, probably due to lack of bleach and water was not consistently hot enough for me to a decent shower.
Room was nasty it had a smell to it
Booked months in advance, upon arrival- front desk person told us they were unsure if there was a clean room. Hallways smelled like marijuana, matresses were not comfortable, no ice machine, and requested additional pillows because the ones on the bed were flat and was told they had none
There was road construction in front of the hotel so you had to exit the parking lot and drive down over a mile to turn around to go the other way...not the hotel's fault but was a bit inconvenience. Staff was courteous but the person checking me in didn't know how to look for a room on the same floor or closer to my companions, there were no cooking utensils at all in the room I had (not even a plate or cutlery) and the phone in my room was just for decoration since there wasn't a phone cord attached.
