Breakfast was marketed on the go so you must have low expectations. However coffee and a packaged muffin was still underwhelming. No healthy choices just carbs.

Service was great my only complaint is the condition of the room with chipped paint on bathroom door dresser drawers Venere chipped across the top and kitchen counter band was checked .

Quite hotel fairly close to Portland Airport When I arrived at the hotel, I was informed that my room was a smoking room. This was completely unacceptable. The desk person checked with some of her existing clients, and she was able to get us into a non-smoking room. The room was comfortable and clean. We did not experience any outside noise from the airplanes or road noise. The breakfast was disappointing as only muffins and candy bars were available.

Terrible Smell in General Areas I've stayed in a lot of hotels, and many Extended Stay Americas too. This one is not in the greatest neighborhood (and there are a lot of groups of locals hanging out in the parking lot). The worst part though, was how the public areas (the hallways especially) smelled. Fortunately, it didn't carry into the room, but in the hallway, you almost gag. They should remove the hallway and stairwell doors and air this place out.
