Checking in the front desk worker acted like she didn’t want to be there or be helpful. If we had booked for more than one night we would have left. There were roaches we killed in our room and had to make my kids keep their socks on. Their feet were black so we washed them and kept socks on all night. Counters had not been cleaned. Sheets on the bed were stained. We waited around for awhile in the morning so we could check out early and no one was ever at the counter. I want to start with saying the staff is so nice. They did great and are great. This is perfect for what they really do and that is help families that are having problems with homelessness. If you are just staying a couple of nights you are better staying somewhere else. It is old looking and nothing has been updated. There is a smell right when you walk in, in the lobby. The lady at the front desk couldn't find our reservation even with the reservation number. The Rineheart Rd extended stay the front desk clerk was not friendly or helpful. We did not stay.
My room smelled like a backed up sewer or something.
Had scheduled a late check-in (9pm) for an early departure (3am). Waited at the check-in counter for 15 minutes, trying to locate someone to release us to our reserved room. The room was +80 degrees and took hours to cool down to a comfortable temperature to fall asleep, by that time we had to get back up and leave. And had to wait again to have someone check us back out.
