Overall this was a nice place to stay. Room was comfortable, although the towels in the room weren't clean. Despite that, it was an enjoyable stay and I will consider them again.

Not what I had hoped for There is another of these hotels on Hotel Circle and I did not realize this one was different. I see now the price of the Hotel Circle property is higher and probably warranted. I "think" the room was clean, but the way the pillows were on the bed made me wonder if someone had laid on it since it was made up. I inspected the bedding thoroughly for signs someone had slept on it. Not something you expect to do in a hotel. They could have taken more time to make sure the room was clean considering they were still cleaning when we went for check-in

Central San Diego area This hotel is located in the heart of Mission Valley and is within close proximity to downtown. Rooms are alright nothing spectacular, we had a non-smoking room that smelled like smoke and had a plastic bag over the smoke alarm (which I told the staff about). Issues with cooking utensils and burners too but we worked with what we had. Safe area and within walking distance of a grocery store.

Pros- The room was clean and quiet. The location is centralized but away from the highways, near most everything. The staff was friendly. Cons- The amenities are not the newest/greatest but are sufficient when all you need is a place to stay for the night (San Diego means you spend your time out of the hotel). The breakfast is just coffee and granola bars but they let you know that at check-in. Overall- It was an OK hotel, not the best but definitely not the worst.

Mediocre I booked for us and another couple to all stay at the same hotel for Labor weekend. Expedia mistakenly booked us in one Mission Valley Extended Stay hotel and the friends I had booked at the same time in another Extended Stay hotel. It was not possible to change the booking. This was very disappointing and made the weekend less enjoyable for all of us.
