Not very impressed The Homestead hotel in San Diego, being tucked away in Mission Valley was difficult to find. It was the first time I stayed in a hotel/motel where there was no daily linen service and where I had to go to front desk (not manned 24/7) for fresh towels. We also had to empty our trash cans ourselves and the room was not cleaned at all during our 4 night stay. OK hotel for the money The hotel's location is near to almost everything in San Diego except the wild aninal zoo. However, the service provided by the hotel is vey limited comparing to other similar hotel. overall, it is an OK place to stay.
Will come back! Overall great stay, loved the mini kitchen though I'd like the staff to come in and clean the room everyday of the stay. I'd come back here next time i'm visiting San Diego.
Great location! Restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations and freeways were close by. Price was right. Rooms could have been cleaned better. I would reserve and stay again.
Great location The hotel was great for the money. The bed wasn't anything to get excited about and the fridge didn't get as cold as it should have, but the location is unbeatable for SeaWorld and San Diego Zoo as well as the beach. A grocery store and plenty of restaurants are within a mile.
No one was there to on board us the day we checked in. We waited and called customer service and waited outside and NO response and no accountability during that night around 11pm with my family. Complementary breakfast is a cheat because they have 2 flasks of coffee, hot water and 10 muffins. Nothing else. No direction for internet , no one shared the information, we used our own data. Bad revew Not so nice receptionist and no remote on the TV

staff member upon check in looked completely checked out. Went to room and the bathroom was dirty, the toilet had residue. Microwave was never cleaned as well as the top of the fridge. It was a non smoking room however the room smelled of smoke and the blanket had burn marks from someone smoking.
