Homestead San Carlos Everything was very good- staff was nice and place clean- the beds in the 5 rooms rented were all too hard- did not sleep well-no breakfast on weekends-

Very good hotel Like the kitchenette, clean, odor-free, well-appointed room, will definitely stay again and will try same hotel in other cities.

Homestead Suites A reminder that this is a business style suite and they do not provide shampoo, soap, coffee supplies or ice machine would have been nice. I haven't stayed in a suite like this in a long, long, long time. Other than that, it was a perfect place and exactly what we wanted. It was a quiet place, large clean room with free parking that was close to everything.

Comfortable stay at convenient location Was looking for a night's rest and found this hotel conveniently priced. It was very clean and located close to downtown redwood city (not walkable, but I had a car so it was okay!). Just remember to bring your own toileteries because its not provided by the hotel - except for towels. I wish they had a laundry bag in the room though, but it wasn't a problem for an overnight stay. The room was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Homestead Suites-San Carlos Easy Access to All I never knew they built a hotel where the Old Circle Star was. The room was clean. Nice to have a small kitchen. Stocked w/dishes,etc. Bring wine glasses. The TV was good until it would shutoff on its own & then I'd have to find the channel again. The bed was hard! Their was no loud activity in halls late at night which was great! Quiet. Close to Starbuck's, dining and shops of San Carlos. Easy access to 101.

Nice hotel for the price & location. About 20 minute drive from San Francisco. Room had a huge comfortable bed and room was very clean. Disappointed that there were no complimentary bottles of shampoo, lotion or conditioner in the room. Wouldn't have been a big deal if I hadn't forgotten all of these things. No continental breakfast. Ok place to stay if you're willing to drive into the City.

Quiet neighborhood Definitely off the beaten path....nestled between office building and residential neighborhood. Not any direct access from the freeway. Friendly, accomodating staff. Front desk person took into consideration that I was by myself, so she wanted to make sure I was in a section that was quiet as there was a large male population of guests checked in on one section of the same floor.

The hotel was nicer than I thought it would be for the money. It's not all that close to the airport (12 miles) but is a quick 10 minutes away. There's no hotel shuttle, but you can call an airporter to pick you up. There is no food other than the vending machine at the front desk.
