Fine accomodation When I initially learned--from a friend who went to visit it before my arrival--that I was assigned a smoking room, I was concerned. But I learned from staff that the entire facility was made non-smoking 3 years ago, and, indeed, I detected no smell of smoke in my room (though I did in my brother and sister-in-law's room). The hotel was very reasonable--much more so than others in the Palo Alto area--and is conveniently located.

What happened to cleaning my room??? Recently spent 2 consecutive nights at this property. I figured with a "normal" hotel, after you leave your room in the morning and come back in the afternoon, the room would be fixed with new towels, bed service, vacummed, etc. When I arrived back after work, it was in the same condition when I left - - bed wasn't made; no new towels; and the trash was uncollected. Nice place but the room maintenance was terrible!

Close but no cigar It was close to where I wanted to be. No housekeeping service. Poorly kept. I would not recommend it.

Not a great stay I tried to get in early but was unable to until right at 3pm. The room was clean with a mix of ancient and updated furniture. The carpet and the tile was new at least but no trash cans in the room. The rooms are all smoking rooms so there is a heavy scent in the room of deoderizer. A little too overpowering. Not a great stay but at least we had a roof over our heads. I used by 10th night free for this so at least I didn't have to pay the full price.
