The bed is hard, wifi is horrendous, its solid 2 star hotel. The people at the front at check in were very nice and helpful so they make up for what the room itself lacks.

Nice enough We were in town for a seminar with long days and didn't plan on spending a lot of time at the hotel so this worked out. I wish they would have had morning offerings besides coffee, however, the coffee was good.

Hotel Good... Not the Phone Call Beforehand My hotel experience here was actually great for what I expected. It was tidy, quiet, and had blackout curtains that were probably my favorite part of my stay. What was a bummer, however, was that I was called on the day of check-in and asked if my reservation could be moved to a different hotel "20 minutes away" in San Mateo. Extended Stay America No frills hotel, cheaper than most and central to local tech businesses. There is no dining around, so if you intended to grab a bite do it on your way back to the hotel or be prepared to taxi or drive. Some rooms are updated, others are not.... Staff is friendly enough and accommodating. This is a hotel, not a motel as so many other places in San Jose are.
