Extended Stay West. San Ramon The staff was excellent. Polite, helpful and courteous. The bed was clean and comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well. The shower had good water pressure and the temperature was easy to adjust. My only disappointment was with the Internet service. It kept dropping and was a pain to deal with. The check in was excellent, very quiet place, but I had problems with the entry, the lock would not release and open the door, inside the place was clean but there was an odor close to the bathroom which smelled like a sewer, at bedtime I turn off all lights tried to go to sleep and felt and heard things flying an landing on my arms, I killed a few insects which lead me to leave the property early, I did not stay for my entire trip at this property

The check in staff were extremely helpful. I can’t walk up stairs so, they quickly switched to a room where I could use the elevator. Downside was there wasn’t a coffee pot, paper cups. I have never stayed in a hotel that didn’t have a coffee maker/cups. My friend and I went to Target and bought a coffee maker, coffee, 2 cups, so we could have coffee when we woke to get ready for our business meeting.

There was a pair of socks in the room from the guests before us and the toilet was not clean. Outside the room looks dirty.

Loved the staff they were above and beyond friendly and helpful. So much so I ended up staying here four nights on my road trip around the east Bay Area. The room was comfortable and the location was extremely convenient. I would definitely stay here again if I find myself in the area.

Didn’t like that the grout in the bathroom was moldy. Also didn’t like that a nonsmoking room smelled like cigarette smoke! Liked the incoming and outgoing desk clerks.
