Horrible Didn't even stay the night The room smelled like gas, the CO2 alarm was going off when we got into the room. No one was working at the front desk so we just left. I called the 1-800 number to complain but this also got me no where. Turns out driving back to the city at midnight is a better option then staying at this hotel. Recommended for those whose alternative would be sleeping in a gutter. No thanks!

Extended Stay America in Downers Grove The carpet was filthy in our room. I had taken a shower and walked out of the bathroom into the room and sat down on the bed to put my socks on. My feet were black on the bottom from the dirt on the carpet!

The floor was sticky Fortunately, I was only staying there between 11pm and 6am. If I had had more time, I would have had them clean the room, but it was late and the last room available. The floor was sticky. There was a spill on the chair (thick liquid of some kind still splashed all over the seat). It didn't look like the sheets had been changed, even though the bed was made. not impressed There are much better options nearby for the same price range. Tried this for the extra space (couch, kitchen), but would give up the extra space for better room.

Not clean I checked in around 3pm and my room wasn't ready. I was told that the maid had called in sick and that the manager was cleaning the rooms. The woman at the front desk was very polite and apologetic, but I was shocked by the situation and had just one hour before I was supposed to be attending an event and needed the room to get ready. After waiting 30 minutes, my room was "ready" but I discovered dirty dishes in the cabinets and lots of little hairs on the bathroom floor.

NEVER EVER IN YOUR LIFE STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! Upon arrival the hotel seemed horrible. When we arrived the person at the front desk informed us that they over booked the hotel and that there were no CLEAN rooms available, She said that she didn't get paid enough to do this S**t. The front desk person "cleaned" a room for us and it smelled horrible. The room looked attrocious and smelled like dog. The room looked like a roach could pop up at any moment. do not use hotels.com Im not gonna use 'hotels.com' again. I just requested non-smoking room, but I cannot get it without any information. they just made reservation in smoking room! and it's not cheap also.

ESA Chicago-Downers Grove Stay The pillow smelled real bad like body oder, when I called down to the front desk about it I was told I had to brin them down and they would exchange them for clean pillows and pillow cases. I had to get dressed to go down and get fresh pillows and they stilled smelled bad. I have asthma so I am very senceative to smells.
